Going round Italy has been amazing, we have loved eating fresh fruit every day. New fruits we've never tried and some of our favourites. We've bought it from the supermarket, picked it fresh and bought it from street stalls (little lorries)
So we decided that we should reflect this in our choice of Torta di Mele. We love all the citrus (oranges, lemons) around us each day in Sorrento or Sicily.
We enjoyed baking with our new colour works kit, we love the feel of the silicon and the splash of colour makes us smile when we are cooking with Mum & Dad.
We tried two types (cupcakes and in a Tefal Ingenue saucepan/tin) - we liked the bigger cake the best.
Our top tip - keep the lemon juice out and use it to stop the apple going brown (the bits used to decorate the top)
